The largest Lamborghini showroom in the world has just been inaugrated in Dubai, UAE. Automobili Lamborghini is preparing its international dealer network for the future and the anticipated increased volumes after market introduction of the Super SUV Urus.
The new showroom and service centre, located in Sheik Zayed Road, exit 41, Dubai, UAE is one of 12 Lamborghini sales points within the dealer network in the Middle East and Africa.
With a total surface of 1.800 square meters spread over 3 floors the showroom and service centre environment, this is a supercar haven for all car lovers. It also includes a retail space where licensed products will be sold – stuff like T shirts, wallets, bags and scale models.
Lamborghini’s current line-up consists of the 6 variants of the Huracan including the Coupe, Spyder, RWD Coupe, RWD Spyder, Avio and the Performante; and 6 variants of the Aventador including the Coupe, Roadster, S Coupe, SV Coupe, SV Roadster and the Pirelli.
So what do we think of the new showroom from an architectural and engineering point of view? Well for one, the building has character and even if you don’t notice the L-shaped (L for Lamborghini obviously) glazed facade that has been carefully or unintentionally incorporated into the building, you’d know what you are looking at from a mile away, thanks to its unique staggered design both to the front and sides.
And since so many square meters of glassed has been used, the amount of energy that will go into the HVAC (air conditioning) systems will be massive. Then again, Lamborghini vehicles are not built with the environment as priority. They are meant to look good and that is what they do.
