In an almost-incredible turn of economic events, we have cheaper fuel in the UAE…at least for September.
From today, 1 September 2015, the revised petrol pricing will take effect with Unleaded Gasoline 95 (special grade) retailing at AED 1.96 per litre, while price of 98 Octane (super) petrol will drop to AED 2.07.
The revised price for the gasoline E Plus 91 in the UAE has been set 8.7 per cent lower than the previous month now retailing at AED 1.89. And finally, the price of diesel has been reduced from the August’s AED 2.05 to an almost-all-time low of AED 1.86, indicating a drop of 9.3 per cent.
Good news ….or bad, the Fuel Price Committee will monitor the global prices of gasoline and diesel on a daily basis and will announce the prices for the following month on the 28th of each month based on average global prices during that month.
