The Ministry of Energy has decreased fuel prices, specifically petrol, by more than 4 per cent for November 2017, following three months of consecutive increase of prices.
Official figures showed that 91 unleaded petrol price has been reduced by 4.6 per cent to AED 1.85 for November from AED 1.94 last October.
‘Special’ or 95 octane petrol has been decreased by 4.4 per cent to AED 1.92 for next month from AED 2.01 this month, while 98 octane price dropped from AED 2.12 to AED 2.03, a decrease of 4.2 per cent.
Interestingly, data shows that the UAE fuel prices in the month of October were the highest year-to-date.
In contrast, diesel price has been marginally increased by 1 fil to from AED 2.11. Truckers and most heavy duty commercial vehicles owners will have to hope for a decrease next month.
