The UAE has announced a slight increase in the price of fuel for July 2016, which follows up to a 5% increase in June, roughly.
‘Special’ grade petrol (95 octane) will be priced at AED 1.77 per litre from July 1, up 1.14 % from the AED 1.75 per litre for the month of June. While, Super (98 octane) grade of petrol will retail at AED 1.88 per litre, up 1.07 per cent from the current AED 1.86 per litre.
The price of E Plus gasoline (91 octane), will see a board price of AED 1.70 per litre, up 1.19 per cent from June’s AED 1.68 per litre.
Truckers on the other hand will have to hand out currency at the rate of AED 1.85 per litre, up 4.5 % from the previous AED 1.77 per litre for diesel.
Let’s hope the rents go the other way atleast!
