Motorists, if you haven’t noticed, there has been a slump in prices for petrol and diesel for January 2016 as compared to the months before.
From 1 January 2016, “Super” will retail at AED 1.69 a litre compared with Dh1.79 in December. While the overwhelming remainder of the road-going population will pay AED Dh1.58, a drop from AED Dh1.68 and the truckers will dish out AED 1.61 compared to Dh1.83 for diesel. And finally…the E Plus will be priced at AED 1.51 for something they used to pay AED 1.61 per litre.
