Feast your eyes on the first visuals of the successor to the Ferrari Enzo. The car hasn’t been christened yet but rumour has it that it will bear the name F150 a.k.a. known as the Special Limited Series.
Much of Ferrari’s Formula One expertise will be seen in the car. According to the manufacturer’s official online magazine, the hypercar will have chassis based on an “almost handmade style” carbon-fibre monocoque.
The tradition of V12 engine will continue in the F150 and it will be mated to a HY-KERS system, a hybrid engine that has the benefits if regenerative braking. A maximum power output of almost 800 horses can easily be assumed, since Ferrari’s current flagship, the F12 Berlinetta already makes 730 bhp at the crank. The HY-KERS system will be good for an additional 100 hp.
That kind of firepower combined with a curb weight of about 3,000 pounds, would mean ‘biblical performance figures’
