Sharjah Police announced that all black points will be cancelled and a discount will be offered on traffic fines issued in the emirate, on Wednesday, the 18th of October 2017.
Brig. Saif Al Zeri Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police said, all black points accrued till October 18 2017 will be cancelled. Also, Sharjah Police offer 50% Traffic fines Discount on traffic fines will be implemented on Thursday, October 19, and will be applicable on all fines incurred until October 18. The traffic fines are payable until December 31 2017, the Sharjah Police stated on a post on their official Instagram account. The fines can be paid either through the website of the Ministry of Interior, or police stations across the emirate.
The initiative forms part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of operations of the police.
