Russian law enforcement authorities are having to deal with companies that advertise “ambulance-taxis” rides that help customers slide through infamous Moscow traffic for 6,000 rubles per hour, which roughly translates to $193 US or AED 709; peanuts for oil industry and shipping tycoons. The so-called ambulance has been prepped with an appropiate paint scheme and flashing lights. The interior is leather-lined couch, prepped for comfort.
Police are on the look-out for such suspicious vehicles; they might tailgate and even stop ambulances, if necessary. So don’t worry, even if you miss your appointment with your doctor, you won’t miss one with God.
