Quite interestingly, motorists will shell out even lesser cash for the month of March for petrol, whilst price of diesel will rise.
The Ministry of Energy announced that for March, price for ‘Super 98’ petrol will drop to AED 1.47 per litre, about 7 per cent less than that in February. While ‘Special 95’ will become cheaper by 7.4 per cent, when priced at AED 1.36. Even ‘E Plus 91’ will drop 8 per cent and will be valued at AED 1.29 per litre.
Meanwhile, Diesel will see a marginal increase of 2 per cent to AED 1.40 from last month’s Dh1.37 per litre.
