Paralyzed Motorcross rider inspires…champions!

Darius MotorCrossAt 7 years old, Darius Glover knew his hobby into his and that was to be a pro motorcross rider. On July 1st, 2006, at the age of 15, an accident at a slick double jump at a local MX track named ‘Field of Dreams’ left daring Darius paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors told him that he wouldn’t be able to walk, while that he has not achieved that yet, some four years later he’s been ruling the roost at motorcross races. At Mini O’s 2012 in Gainesville, Florida, in a stacked class and even after being forced to start on the far outside of the gate, Darius pulled the holeshot! Daring Darius led the race until he fell in a sharp turn.

He has equipped his 2012 CR450f with fabricated custom bars, seat, slipper clutch and brake, in order to make it ride-able. Darius Glover had plans to race at Loretta Lynn’s in 2012. He plans to race in both the 450C class and Open Four stroke class at Loretta’s (Not sure what the results were). Ambitions of racing in the X games and going Pro fuels his dreams.

The 20 year old trains with infamous motocross trainer Colleen Millsaps, the mother of Pro Motocross Legend and JGRMX team rider, Davi Millsaps.

In the name of JC he might be able to pick up his cot and walk but for now he makes do with riding…
