The Dubai Police has introduced 24 high-powered Kawasaki Concours 14 GTR sport touring motorcycles. into its fleet and that is not all, they have been upgraded with a special police ‘up-fit’ kit.
The motorcylces, which are widely used in North America, are equipped with high-grade technical features making them easier for cops to maneuver in traffic and chase after baddies at speed. Kawasaki Concours 14, the sport-touring bike has the same 1400 cc engine displacement as that of the monster of speed i.e Ninja ZX-14R with a slight detune. The fuel injected motor, as stock, makes in excess of 150 bhp and is limited to a 250 km/h top speed.
The total number of Kawasaki Concours 14 bikes in the Dubai Police fleet goes up to 29. The white and khaki livery goes well on the Kwaker two-wheelers, I must say.
Kawasaki are also the creators of the world’s fastest and most powerful bike the H2R which makes 300+ bhp and is capable of a 400 km/h top speed as seen on youtube recently.
