Dubai Police has added another supercar to its patrol fleet and this time its the Mclaren 570S that is wearing the white and green livery.
It is also the first of its kind to carry the new logo Expo 2020.
Lt. Col. Dr. Mubarak Saeed Bnoas, Director of the Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation said that the car was equipped with the latest high-quality surveillance cameras linked to the operations room and programs that serve police work. In stock form this car is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 that cranks out 570 PS / 562 bhp and 600 Nm / 443 lbft which helps its get from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and will reach 200 km/h in another 6.7 seconds; and tops out at 328 km/h / 204 mph.
The fleet of luxury police supercars patrol areas like the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, GPRS, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah area, and places of heritage and ancient markets.
The trained men and women officers who drive these luxury cars are welcome questions from tourists and will observations and complaints.
