The Need for Speed series is back with their latest, tyre-screeching, rubber burning, police taunting version of the game, Most Wanted. This is their second game under the same label, except that this time UK based Criterion games is in charge now, for the programming and animation bits.
There will be a wide variety of cars available for you to pilot, which include the likes of the new 400 bhp Porsche 911 Carrera S (991), the 411 bhp Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, the 470 bhp Dodge Challenger SRT8, the 510 bhp Aston Martin V12 Vantage, and Murcielago’s successor, the mighty Lamborghini Aventador with 690 horses.
However, these horsepower figures make little sense when you earn the right to bolt some NOS canisters to your machine and blow speed right out of proportions.
Need for Speed is the most successful racing video game series in the world, and amongst the most successful video game franchises of all time. As of October 2009, over 100 million copies of games in the Need for Speed series have been sold.
The NFS Most Wanted to set to be released on 30th October 2012. Buckle up racer boys!
