British car company Morris Garage, commonly known as MG has launched a free door-to-door service, together with its regional distributors in Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, for making ownership of MG vehicles more convenient.
The hassle-free service is expected to improve the company’s increasing repertoire of aftersales offerings in the Middle East and is quite unique. No other manufacturer is offering this service.
Upon booking a service appointment over the phone with a local retailer, MG customers will be sent a courtesy vehicle to their doorstep. The customer’s car will be taken to the local retailer to carry out the required maintenance work. Once the procedures are completed, the vehicle is returned to the owner.
Sun Guang, General Manager of MG Middle East, said: “We are always looking for initiatives to further satisfy our loyal customer base and enhance the MG aftersales offering. We believe this service will strengthen relationships with our current customers, at a time when sales of MG cars in the region are at an all-time high, while also appealing to prospective buyers.’’
This new initiative enhances MG’s extensive aftersales service, with customers already offered an extended six-year or 200,000km warranty across all models, emphasizing the reliability of MG vehicles and peace of mind for the customers. The company also offers 24/7 call center support, ensuring customers have round-the-clock access to roadside assistance.
MG is a long-established British automotive brand, founded in 1924 and is known to have the world’s first car club. Its current portfolio for the GCC includes the MG5 hatchback, the MG6 sedan, the MG350 sedan and the MG GS crossover SUV.
