Mazda upgrades the Roadster a.k.a MX-5 a.k.a Miata for 2013

Seems like the brochure snaps of the MX-5 was all, real. The 2013 Japanese model (and perhaps North American one) gets a revised front fascia with a version of the five-point grille first seen on the Spyder Concept. Other frontal changes include a new front fog lamp bezel design and front chin spoiler.

A new body colour called Dolphin Gray Mica has replaced Metropolitan Gray in the range of seven exterior colours.

The interiors get a mix of Glossy Dark Gray trims and a new tan colour for the all-leather upholstery.  Fabric (black), leather (tan and black) and a combination of Alcantara® and black leather seat cover materials are also available.

The 2013 Roadster has enhanced throttle management program for better acceleration, improved brake booster performance and an Active Bonnet for added pedestrian protection.

There is a soft top version available as well.
