Car seat manufacturers KidsEmbrace have taken characters like DC Comics superhero Batman, Dora and NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Junior and made car seats out of them.
The Batman seat much like the Utility belt has many a feature including a wrap-around cape to ward away cold air or warm. Your 2 year old will even have the Dark Knight himself, serving him/her up two cups of beverage (via the arm rests) instead of his butler Alfred Pennyworth.
The Earnhardt Jr. sample has a helmet and a racing suit etched on it (KidsEmbrace probably thought a all-white TG’s Stig version would get dirty too fast!). Dora besides her pink and purple doesn’t get much else and there is a Sponge Bob variant that doesn’t do much either, besides soaking up spilled beverage like his name suggests.
The Earnhardt seats can be had for $99, Dora and Sponge Bob for $129 and Batman variant wears a premium price of $149, befitting of a billionaire.
A popular motoring website implied that having your kid sit on the “lap” of a stranger is creepy, but it’s is only weird for the parents, the kids will love it. Perhaps they should a Santa Claus version, that would make sense!
