ACC or Adaptive Cruise Control, also known as Autonomous Cruise Control, is an advanced cruise control system for motor vehicles that is capable of automatically adjusting the vehicle speed to match that of the vehicle ahead and is also able to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead. In most vehicles this distance can be adjusted by the driver to suit the level or safety required or his/her driving style.
