Fuel prices set to rise in UAE for October 2017, with both petrol and diesel becoming costlier by more than 10 fils a litre – these are the highest recorded prices in two years.
The new domestic fuel prices for UAE, which will be the highest since September 2015, are effective from October 1. Price per litre of Super 98 will rise to AED 2.12 from AED 2.01 in September – up 5.47 per cent; Special 95 at AED 2.01 from AED 1.90 – up 5.79 per cent; E Plus-91 at AED 1.94 from AED 1.83 – up 6.01 per cent.
As for diesel, price been raised to AED 2.10 per litre from AED 2 per litre this month.
