Forza Horizon has released a new car pack which has cars selected by the editors at Top Gear magazine; expect a mix of quirky and quick. The names include…
2012 Aston Martin Vanquish
The car that used to vanish in a James Bond movie reappears; this time however, it gets a sleeker, svelte silhouette and a 565 bhp 6.0-litre V12.
2012 Bowler EXR S
The all-terrain Bowler EXR S is exponent of a 2012 collaboration between Land Rover and U.K.-based rally raid manufacturer Bowler. It is equipped with Range Rover Sport’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8, that produces 550 bhp, allowing it to travel more 150 mph/240 km/h.
2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato
This street-legal sports car features an Dodge Viper-sourced 8.4-litre V10 engine and an exterior sculpted by Italian design center Zagato.
2011 Ford Transit SuperSportVan
The 2011 Ford Transit SuperSportvan adorns Le Mans bonnet stripes on the outside and under the hood is the 3.2-litre, 198-horsepower engine borrowed from the superlative Transit Jumbo.
1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR
The CLK-GTR is a racecar for the street that was hugely popular in the Need For Speed series. It only took 128 days to sketch, design and build. It went on to dominate the GT1 class at Le Mans. This 600 horsepower supercar could get to a 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 160 km/h in under 7 seconds.
2002 BMW M3-GTR
The GTRs were never sold to anyone. Only three street copies were built. Only a street copy was shown in the US once, and for less than an hour.
The Forza Horizon April Top Gear Car Pack will be available from Tuesday, April 2 2012. Each car is available for 240 MS Points or you can purchase them as a pack for 400 MS points. Simultaneously, Forza will be releasing a new batch of Community Rivals Mode events to compete in.
