It is quite the replica, featuring real Pirelli race tyres, a seat that can actually accommodate a driver and the complex F1 steering wheel.
The Lego F1 car was constructed to promote the collaboration between Ferrari and Shell. In some places on the globe besides the US, if you stop at a Shell station and refuel, you will receive special mini Ferrari Lego kits that include the best from Maranello, namely the F40, 458 Italia, FXX, 250 GT Berlinetta, the Scuderia Ferrari Truck and even the F150 Italia.
