Toyota Emirates Drifting Team led by Ahmed Al Ameri, the 2011/2012 UAE Drifting Champion finished second on the podium for the 2013 edition of Drift UAE. The Toyota 86 he drove is no ordinary AED 95,000 base car. In order to comply with the highest international safety regulations, Toyota EDT installed a 16 point FIA certified roll cage, seats, seatbelts, fire extinguisher, battery, and advanced brake and suspension systems. The car’s 2JZ engine had its displacement upgraded from 3000cc to 3400cc. His Toyota 86 is capable reaching 100 km/hr from 0 in less than 4 seconds and can hit 300 km/hr if let loose.
