Up until a while ago, the heavily armoured Knight XVwas the only vehicle manufactured by the Toronto based Conquest vehicles. But now they have the Evade, their first unamoured SUV to show.
The SUV’s design is evolutionary but not as hardcore as it’s tougher sibling. Resemblances are seen in some detailing such as headlamps and taillight surrounds, fender flares etc.
The Knight XV is based on the Ford F350 Super Duty frame however, the Evade’s aluminum and mild steel body sits on the wider F550 Super Duty chassis. The 400 cu.ft. interior accomodates a maximum four passengers, two up front and two in the rear who enjoy an executive style arrangement.
The cabin has also been given provisions like tourchscreen panels, laptop trays, three sunroofs, leather and Alcantara upholstery and a unique 360-degree joystick-controlled searchlights and FLIR night vision for the front and the rear.
The Evade can either come fitted with a petrol or diesel engine. Prices start at $579,000 or roughly AED 2,126,700 with the current conversion rates.
