Codemasters Racing Studios have announced that they are developing a sequel to 2008 BAFTA-award winning, critically acclaimed Race Driver: GRID™. The new game will feature “a selection of handpicked automotive icons spanning four decades and three continents,” namely USA, Europe and Asia, racing “on beautiful city streets, licensed circuits or knife-edge mountain roads.”
New locations such as Chicago and Paris will also be introduced to the game.
Check out the trailer, it’s got some scene from the Yas Marina F1 circuit in Abu Dhabi and even a digital Pagani Huayra getting a violent thrashing at the end.

GRID 2 will be released in the summer of 2013 and will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
