With the Olympics on the agenda for the next couple of weeks, travelling in London town would be more a pain in the arse. And to find a hotel room, would be probably even harder, purely because of the jacked-up prices and the lack of rooms itself due to the heavy influx of tourists.
However, David Weekes a local taxi driver has solved both problems for the transiting Londoner. He has turned his taxi into a hotel room, and for $75 a night one guest can stay in the back seat of his London Taxi TX4. It comes equipped with mattress, bedding, alarm clock, and a Paddington Bear.
The scenic view of the outsides of Mr. Weekes residence is what you enjoy, for that is where the taxi will be stationed after sundown and for morning ablutions, you need to knock at his door.
