Unlike more traditional services, the efficient method utilizes two mechanics working in tandem on the same vehicle, who complete a prescribed list of tasks, ensuring both a higher standard of work and a quicker turnaround time.
The innovative service requires customers to pre-book a time to service their vehicle in advance, ensuring the service center can prepare any parts or tools required for work on the vehicle before they arrive. Once the service begins, any additional service or parts requests can then be flagged in real-time to the customer for their approval.
By adopting the ‘Twin Service’ model the Audi Service Center, Mussafah claims to have seen the average time spent on each job reduced by more than 50%, technician efficiency increase by 31% and 100% of customer cars returned to their owners within the same day.
The center offers a range of different service options including while you wait and complimentary drop-off and pick up for customers with more extensive repairs.
