The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray needed no excuse to go topless and here are the first official pictures. It is poised to make it’s maiden public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show.
The example is fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package. The air scoops led air to cool transmission and differential have been relocated to the underside of the car. The nightly paint scheme helps mutes the contrasts with the black front fender vents and hood opening. This Stingray also rides on different alloy wheels than the split five-spoke design shown on the hardtop variant shown at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Expect a slight drop in both 0 to 60 mph times and topspeed.
